Foreign Travel Ban on Daisy Forrest Confirmed Amid Money Laundering Probe

Police Media Spokesman SSP Buddhika Manatunga has reaffirmed that a foreign travel ban is in place against Daisy Forrest in connection with the ongoing money laundering investigation involving Yoshitha Rajapaksa.

His statement follows claims made by attorney-at-law Premanath Dolawatte, who told the media that the Kaduwela Magistrate had not issued such a ban. Dolawatte further alleged that the police spokesman had committed an offense by revealing details not ordered by the court.

Addressing the media on Saturday (15), SSP Manatunga maintained that he had presented the accurate facts and confirmed that the travel restriction against Daisy Forrest remains in effect.
