Namal Rajapaksa Completes Statement at CID Regarding SriLankan Airlines Airbus Deal

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa has concluded a nearly four and a half-hour statement at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in relation to ongoing investigations into the SriLankan Airlines Airbus deal.

Rajapaksa arrived at the CID earlier today to provide his statement, addressing questions related to the deal. Upon leaving the CID, he spoke to the media, expressing his full cooperation with the authorities throughout the investigation.

"I have cooperated fully with the authorities, and I remain committed to transparency in the legal process," Rajapaksa said.

The investigation is focused on the controversial deal involving the national airline, SriLankan Airlines, and the purchase of Airbus aircraft.
